Cape Cod Renovation is a Centerville-based remodeling and new-construction company run by owner Vladimir Doklev — called "Vlad" throughout dozens of reviews — with an active Massachusetts home improvement contractor license and a Better Business Bureau A+ grade. The company says it has 20 years in business and covers nearly every trade on a renovation: bathrooms, kitchens, additions, roofing, siding, windows, decks, and electrical and mini-split installations, serving towns across Cape Cod. The reviews describe a genuinely wide range of finished projects. A recent April 2026 review described a bathroom remodel that enlarged the space by removing an adjoining closet and replaced all fixtures, flooring, plumbing and electrical service. Several reviews from earlier in 2026 describe full home additions, a new build handled from framing through HVAC, custom decks paired with Hardie or cedar shingle siding, and a full kitchen and dining room remodel with structural expansion, cabinetry, flooring and mini-splits. A December 2025 review described the crew taking over and finishing, in under a week, a garage project another contractor had botched and abandoned. The consistency runs deep: reviewers across 2022 through 2024 describe full-house remodels touching windows, doors, flooring, cabinets, countertops and two bathrooms; a new bay window; roof replacement; and repeat business from the same customers, several of whom describe using the company for multiple projects over the years and calling it dependable and detail-oriented every time. There are two exceptions worth knowing about. A 2021 review said the company simply never responded to an inquiry, and a 2023 review described being told to expect an appointment, then waiting three hours with no one showing up and no follow-up call. Both describe trouble getting a response to a new request, not a problem with completed work, and nothing similar shows up in the eleven reviews from the past six months, all of them positive. Google shows a 4.9-star rating from 69 ratings, and BuildZoom lists 18 permitted projects and a verified active home improvement contractor license. For homeowners on Cape Cod planning anything from a bathroom refresh to a full addition, this is a well-documented, broadly trusted company — though if you're just trying to get a first call back, it may be worth following up if you don't hear back right away.
Cape Cod Renovations has just completed a bathroom remodel at our home. They took out a closet in an adjoining room to enlarge the bathroom and replaced all the fixtures, floor, plumbing and electrical service. We are completely satisfied with the finished project. They executed the design we had in mind while making helpful recommendations that improved the final result. The project came in on budget and was finished earlier than projected. The entire crew was very professional, competent and were a pleasure to have in the house. We would certainly use them in future projects.
Cape Cod Renovation did an excellent job on our project. Communication was great throughout the entire process, and everything was completed exactly as promised.
