A furnace a competitor wanted to replace, tested by Corbett and found with nothing wrong: a recent customer said that second opinion for a father-in-law was five years ago, and the furnace is still running. Corbett HVAC Services is a Willimantic heating and cooling company that says it handles installation, repairs and maintenance. When a furnace stopped working, a customer said Eric found a faulty blower fan and had the furnace running again within 24 hours. With an air conditioner down during a hot week, a recent customer said Eric diagnosed the problem, helped with the warranty paperwork for parts and had it fixed in a couple of days for less than expected. A recent customer in a new construction home said Brayan identified and resolved problems left by another company's installation. A recent customer whose oil delivery company stopped boiler cleanings said Joseph was on time and explained everything. A first-time homeowner said a recent furnace maintenance visit took maybe an hour. In 2023, a customer described a single-zone air conditioner on a two-story colonial that keeps both floors within a degree or two. In a 2024 review, a customer said a $4,500 deposit from their 90-year-old father was taken, the work never done, and an attorney was needed to get the money back, minus $500. A 2023 customer said a boiler costing over $10,000 leaked and had failing parts after installation, and described a rude customer service manager. In a 2025 review, a customer complained that the company does not offer emergency service to new customers.
As a first time homeowner, I wasn't sure of the maintenance with my furnace. Corbett HVAC came highly recommended by a neighbor, so I gave their services a chance. Glad I did! From the first call, their rep answered multiple questions and walked me through the process. When Eric and Carlito arrived, they were totally professional, funny, answered all my questions, follow questions, hypothetical questions and finally, stupid questions. Reasonably priced and the process was maybe an hour. Afterwards, Eric showed me what came out of my furnace and gave me pointers for any future concerns. Will definitely use them again.
We're glad we chose to work with Corbett HVAC. We are so happy and satisfied with the heat pump and water heater, and the crew was so easy to work with. I highly recommend them for your HVAC jobs.
We had a wonderful experience with Corbett HVAC Services! Eric was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous throughout the entire visit. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answer our questions, and make sure we understood the condition of our HVAC system. He was also very respectful of our home and even complimented us on how well we maintain it, which was such a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. Eric’s professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor gave us real peace of mind as we prepare for the upcoming cold season. It’s reassuring to know our system has been serviced by someone who genuinely cares about his work and his customers. We truly appreciate the excellent service and would highly recommend Corbett HVAC Services to anyone looking for reliable, professional, and courteous HVAC care!
Excellent company - honest technicians (and owner). I asked Corbett for a second opinion for my father-in-law when another company said his furnace needed to be replaced. Corbett tested everything and said nothing whatsoever was wrong with it. That was 5 years ago. The furnace is still running great and saved my FIL over 10K. I'll pay for honesty any day. Great company !!!!!
Our oil delivery company stopped doing annual boiler cleanings so I needed to find a new company. Corbett HVAC came recommended and they did a great job. Joseph was on time, clean, and explained everything thoroughly. I highly recommend Corbett HVAC. Will use them again for both boiler and A/C service.
