Angi also lists the same East Boston address under the legal name Crespo Realty and Investments. The customer accounts are warm, and they are old. Thumbtack shows 4.9 stars across 34 ratings, 94% of them five-star, with five written reviews running January 2018 to October 2019. What they describe is speed under pressure. One homeowner wrote in February 2018 that after a Monday-night emergency, Ricky came out with a plumber, quoted that evening, started work the next morning, and photographed the damage and repairs as the job grew past what anyone expected. Another, in January 2019, credited the crew with tracing a condo building's water leak and settling it within hours. A January 2018 review covers a boiler repair after an electrical fire in the relay, with an electrician and a plumber both brought to the scene and space heaters loaned out on a Sunday when the supply houses were shut. The bathroom side is thinner. A March 2018 customer facing a full gut wrote that Ricky helped prioritize the work and explained options and costs when an old house produced surprises — one fixture update, with more planned. Angi's three five-star ratings, two of them written in December 2017, and Google's two ratings sit on top of that. Two things to sort out before booking. First, currency: the newest written account dates to October 2019, and the only customer comment since is a two-word note on Google in July 2023. Second, fit — the permits are development work, so ask directly how a single-bathroom job slots into a schedule built around multi-family builds. On credentials, BuildZoom and Thumbtack both list Massachusetts home improvement contractor and construction supervisor registrations for the company; those are directory entries, so check the numbers against the state registry yourself.
