Neither is a check against the state registry, so ask to see the licence itself. A few practical things the company's listings state: free estimates, credit cards accepted, no emergency service, and no warranties offered. That shapes who they suit — a scheduled water heater swap or a gas-line job rather than a burst pipe at midnight. Before booking, ask for the licence number and a couple of recent local references, since nobody has written publicly about the work yet.
