Discount Energy

Discount Energy delivers heating oil on set schedules, and its website lists delivery areas from Portland & Scarborough to Brunswick, Biddeford, Lewiston, Augusta and Sanford, plus Rochester/Portsmouth and Concord/Manchester in New Hampshire. The company says it has been in business for 40 years. A recent customer who ordered 100 gallons of oil said the delivery came on the day the company said it would. The customer had asked for a call ahead to open a challenging gate and did not get one, and only 50 gallons were delivered. When the customer called, they were told the other 50 gallons would be delivered that day, and the customer wrote that the phone call resolved the panic.
