Eric Sabo Plumbing Heating & Cooling, LLC.

Eric Sabo Plumbing Heating & Cooling, LLC works on boilers, furnaces, air conditioning and water heaters, and its website lists a service area that includes Bozrah, Canterbury, Franklin, Griswold, Groton, Montville and New London. The company says it has been in business 25 years. A recent customer who called for quotes to convert to gas said Eric was not the cheapest or the most expensive, and praised the boiler install he and his crew did. A recent customer said the technicians who came to clean the boiler and fix a leak diagnosed the problem, repaired it and did not leave a mess. On a central-air call, a recent customer said Eric diagnosed the problem and then traced a run of high electric bills to a failed switch on the well pump; that customer then scheduled a replacement. A recent customer who had an electric hot water heater and a mini split system installed said Dane and Raymond cleaned up as they went. A 2026 customer said Eric quoted a boiler replacement and the change-out took about 1.5 days. A 2026 customer said Holly called the morning of the appointment to say Ray and Dane were on the way but had an emergency at a home with no heat; the same reviewer appreciated the follow-up call explaining what they found. In a 2024 review, a customer said the fix on an emergency boiler call took less than 3 minutes, and Ray offered to use the rest of the paid hour for maintenance run tests and filter changes. In a 2023 review, a customer described a two-day heating system installation in which Eric made sure they had hot water on day one, and credited Eric's dad, George Sabo, with the electrical work. A recent customer called an estimate outrageous, said they got the job done for $14,000 less elsewhere, and said they were charged $250 for a furnace cleaning that was not done because a new furnace was needed, with no reply to a refund request. A recent customer was disappointed in the price for what turned out to be a very simple fix and said the arrival time was different every time by a sizable amount.
