Forest Hills HVAC

Forest Hills HVAC is a Roslindale shop that's built a long, consistently praised record on heating and cooling work — 4.8 stars from 18 Google ratings and 4.9 from 11 on Angi, where its profile is accredited. The company says it's been serving the Roslindale community since 2012, and describes itself as a residential and industrial HVAC contractor handling installation, repair, and maintenance, with some home remodeling and tiling work on the side. What comes through across 28 reviews from 2022 to 2026 is a team — David, along with Bob and Jose — that customers keep naming directly and keep calling back. Reviewers describe getting a technician out on short notice, including weekends, with the problem explained clearly before any work starts. Several reviews go into real detail: one describes David and his team clearing clogged drains and servicing seven mini-split units and two condensers, spending noticeably more time than a prior maintenance visit had; another describes cleaning two through-the-wall AC units that had never been serviced before, ready in a couple of hours. A number of reviews also mention fair, transparent pricing rather than the higher quotes some other HVAC companies gave. There are two things worth knowing before calling. A 2023 review describes a technician accepting payment through CashApp and the company then rejecting a refund request because the customer hadn't paid by credit card — worth asking about payment terms up front. Separately, Angi's own profile notes one review citing a minor scheduling delay behind emergency calls, alongside otherwise uniformly positive feedback. For AC, heat pump, mini-split, or heating work in the Roslindale area, this is a company with a deep and current record of responsiveness and follow-through. Confirm the payment method accepted and get any refund terms in writing before the job starts.
