A homeowner who paid close to $4,000 to have a leaking section of roof fixed wrote in May 2025 that it had been leaking for three years since, that they called every time to get it sorted, and that the company eventually told them the repair was out of warranty. Gemini Home Improvement works out of Seekonk on roofs, siding, windows, gutters and PVC trim, with painting, decks, flooring and bath and kitchen remodeling on its BBB service list. Nine reviews written between 2021 and 2023 name Ralph, the coordinator who came out, measured and quoted. Those 2021 to 2023 reviews are specific about the work. In October 2022, an Angi customer had an old two-layer roof stripped and replaced in a day and a half, with debris and scuff marks cleared from the surrounding areas at the end. That April, another said two roofs came off and the new one went on inside two days. A January 2022 reviewer got a detailed quote, a crew within a week of accepting it, a roof finished in one day and a yard raked clean, with no stray nails found. A December 2021 customer gathering five estimates for a sister's roof found Gemini the lowest, three others within $400 of it. A January 2023 review covers a full bath remodel and a roof repair, on time and on budget. The complaints land on what comes after. In February 2024, a would-be customer rated the scheduling alone: told twice that Mason would send estimates, weeks of waiting, no return call. A November 2022 customer said the gutter cleaning that was the whole reason for calling was never completed. The BBB grades Gemini F, citing a failure to hold a required competency license and a failure to respond to a complaint, and says two of the three reviews on its page describe unresolved defects — a roof leak despite a claimed 20-year warranty, and a siding job with problems left open. One complaint sits on file there. Massachusetts' registry shows the company's home improvement contractor registration, #196963, as expired. The crews in those earlier reviews put roofs on quickly and cleaned up behind themselves, and for a straightforward tear-off that is what customers described — but anyone hiring now should start with the registration. Ask for a current number, get the warranty and who honours it written into the contract, and settle how a callback gets scheduled before you sign.
