Glastonbury Oil Co is a heating oil dealer that describes itself on its BBB page as offering oil, burner service and heating equipment sales. Courant.com has written about its oil deliveries. A 2025 Google reviewer said they had been a customer for almost 30 years, and that the service more than made up for a price that was sometimes a little higher per gallon. A 2024 reviewer who called to ask about current rates said the woman who answered asked who was calling, said the company was not taking new customers and hung up. Its BBB page shows an A+ grade and accreditation.
“One delivery attempt by Glastonbury Oil Co. was so stymied that the delivery hose had to be snaked through the front door of a breezeway and out a back door to reach the oil fill pipe.”
Sometimes a little more expensive per gallon, but their service more than makes up for it. I have been a customer for almost 30 years and they are the best!
I just called to get their current rates as I was trying to see who has the best prices. When I asked for them, the lady got rude asking me who is this? I gave her my name and she told me they are not taking new customers and hung up on me. That was such a weird experience.
