Gonzatino Home Improvement, based out of a Minden Street address in Boston, shows up on Thumbtack with a genuinely deep track record for a small remodeling shop: 4.7 stars across 49 ratings, alongside a perfect but far thinner 5.0 from four Google raters. What keeps surfacing across those Thumbtack reviews is professionalism, responsiveness, and workmanship customers are satisfied with, not a one-off compliment but a pattern the platform's own review summary calls out directly. A separate local write-up, echoing language pulled straight from the company's Thumbtack profile, describes the crew as honest, sincere, and friendly, and notes they work six days a week. One thing worth asking about before booking: at least one Thumbtack reviewer felt the price ran a bit high, even while still rating the work well. There's also a small inconsistency in how long the business has been operating — one directory lists 10 years, Thumbtack's own profile says 11 — worth a quick clarifying question rather than a red flag. Beyond the ratings there isn't much independently verified: no license confirmation turned up and no photographed job history is available here, so this is a solidly Thumbtack-proven contractor rather than an exhaustively vetted one. Worth a call for a Boston-area remodeling job, with pricing pinned down up front.

David and his team helped me with reconstruction our house after water damage. He provided a quote that was reasonable that didn't make me shop around. And he was prompt at starting the work. He also helped me with all the questions, and cost breakdown information from the insurance company to cover my losses. He also gave an advice that I didn't know that I had to ask for liability insurance from anyone that does work in my home. It was a great advice that I have been following since then.

I worked with David for months. He has a sharp eye for finding issues such as mold, leaks, and fire ants. He has many people working for him and can come up with business ideas that have a lot of upside potential. David was willing to work out a payment plan with me and was able to accept some credit card payments as well.

I had to replace a rotten wooden plate behind the landing of my main door. The rotted wood became a blocker to finish my project. David responded within minutes and was able to complete the entire task in < 24 hrs. This resulted in 0 impact to my project. The work was also very well done. I thought he was a bit expensive but the quality of work and the timely response more than paid for itself.

i called David and he came out a day later to give me a quote on doing my kitchen and adding a bathroom right next to it. He told me he could do it and we both agreed on the quote. I was surprised at how quick he pulled the permit david and his guys did great Work over the three weeks he was there. I will be calling him again in a year or so to remodel my 2nd floor.

David did a great job at communicating, he showed up weekly and helped out where he could help us out with extra stuff. We love our new kitchen and our new bathroom.
