On paper Grand Flooring is a very small operation: BBB lists the North Andover corporation as incorporated in May 2019 with one employee and Aliaksei Zhylinski as president. It also gives the company an A+ grade, though the business is not BBB accredited — those are two different things, and only the grade is earned rather than applied for. The trail behind that is broader than the headcount suggests. Google carries a 4.8 average across 25 ratings, and 25 reviews turn up across four separate sources between 2023 and 2026 — a corroborated history rather than a cluster of comments on one platform. The company is also listed as a member of the North Andover Chamber of Commerce. The part worth weighing carefully is the timing of the one bad review. The most recent comment on file, from February 2026, is a single star complaining that the flooring "has space and grouped very poorly" — a complaint about gaps and fit in the installed boards, not about scheduling or manners. It is short, it is one voice among 25, and nothing else in the last six months balances it. That combination is worth a direct question rather than a shrug. So: a small, established floor-installation outfit with a strong multi-year record and one recent, unaddressed complaint about the workmanship itself. If you call them, ask how they handle callbacks when boards separate, what the workmanship warranty covers and for how long, and get the subfloor prep, material acclimation time, and expansion-gap approach written into the estimate. Those are precisely the variables behind the one complaint on file, and a clear answer up front costs nothing.

Working with Alex right from the beginning was great! You can tell he is very well experienced and knows what he does best. He helped me select the right type of floors for my condo and installed them very quickly! There was a patch that needed to be fixed and he ensure that it was up to my high expectations before I made any payments. Pricing is very appropriate too - and I shopped around with many floor installation companies. I would recommend Alex and his team any day again! Thank you, Alex!

I got into issue with my hardwood floor refinishing, so I was looking for someone to fix in a short time as we are planning for a vacation, reached Alex regarding this, fortunately he was visiting my town sometime, quickly me and Alex agreed the terms to refinish my hardwood flooring and pricing was reasonable, flooring came out pretty good in few days, I am really impressed with his work and crew. Definitely I will be reaching him in future.
