The jobs they describe sit squarely in flooring: engineered hardwood over old bedroom carpet in August 2023, luxury vinyl tile in a basement that had been a moisture trap in July 2023, hardwood stairs in place of carpet in June 2023, laminate over a leveled concrete slab that same month, and hardwood refinishing turned around before a vacation in September 2023. A commercial space of roughly 2,000 square feet appears in a May 2023 review, so it is not only houses. Subfloor prep comes up more than once. An August 2023 reviewer said the basement floors were leveled properly so the new ones would last, and a June 2023 customer wrote that the concrete slab underneath was leveled at no extra charge. The thing to weigh is the newest written account. In February 2026 a customer gave one star and said the flooring had spaces and was grouped very poorly. Almost everything else on the page was written in 2023, when reviewers kept using the same words: on time, quick, reasonable. One more thing to square before booking: the BBB profile lists a single employee, while reviewers describe Alex showing up with a team. For a straightforward swap — carpet out, hardwood, laminate or vinyl tile in — this is the kind of shop that quotes it plainly and finishes quickly. Ask who will actually be on the job, and get the seam and gap tolerances written into the quote before the boards go down.
