Some of Hi-Tech's customers have been coming back for decades: one June 2026 reviewer said they had used the company since the early 80s, another that their family had bought windows from it since the 90s. The Methuen exterior remodeler sells and installs replacement windows, siding, roofing, doors and decks across northeastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. The company describes itself as a second-generation family-owned business that marked 30 years in 2025. Its Massachusetts HIC license, #118836, is active on the state registry. Windows are most of the work people describe, and several recent jobs were large ones finished in a day. In an April 2026 review, a homeowner said Bill assessed 16 windows in February and the triple-pane units were installed in one day in the third week of March. A May 2026 customer had five windows replaced on an unheated barn, then came back five months later for 11 double-hung windows on the house, done in six hours. A June 2026 condo resident had two floor-to-ceiling windows and two glass doors replaced and said the triple panes made the unit noticeably quieter. Entry doors, screen doors and a sash repair come up too. Google shows 4.7 stars across 280 ratings; Porch shows 4.4 across 271. Several customers describe trouble with scheduling and follow-through. In July 2026, a three-star reviewer praised the lead carpenter but said the dumpster and portable toilet arrived late and the dumpster sat two weeks too long, killing part of the lawn. In July and August 2025, two people said no one showed for booked appointments, one of them for a window estimate. A July 2025 two-star review of a $55,000 roof, window and siding job said the work seemed fine but described slow responses, delays starting each stage, disputed change orders and a pressing call about a payment. An April 2026 one-star review said a commercial door was installed with expanding foam where the reviewer said non-expanding foam belonged. Older complaints are dated: a July 2022 customer said a $15,000 deposit sat for six months before the company offered it back for lack of workers, and an August 2022 reviewer said a sales rep never sent the roof and siding estimate they asked for and then demanded a signed contract by noon the next day. In June 2026, one person said the company kept calling after being asked more than twenty times to stop. On the other side, a March 2026 reviewer said the company quickly returned a significant deposit when their financing fell through.
