Verified record
IndoorDoctor is a Derry, New Hampshire firm that tests homes for mold, indoor air quality, and other environmental hazards — and, pointedly, doesn't fix what it finds. One HomeAdvisor reviewer put it plainly: the company is independent and offers no remediation services, so it has no financial reason to oversell a problem. Owner Jeff Bradley, an environmental engineer trained at West Point and Southern Methodist University, has run the operation for a self-reported 17 years, and the company says it has performed more than 30,000 indoor air quality inspections since 2009. The track record backs that up. Across 86 reviews collected since 2021 on Google, Angi, and HomeAdvisor, the Better Business Bureau grades the business A+ and lists it as accredited, and the same story repeats year after year: an inspector — Justin, James Kudalis, and Sean all show up by name more than once — walks every room, tests for whatever the homeowner is worried about, and explains the findings in plain language instead of jargon. A 2023 reviewer noted the owner handed out his personal cell number for follow-up questions weeks after the visit; a 2022 review described a technician working with a family whose child had a severe mold allergy on a physician's referral. Beyond mold and air quality, the Better Business Bureau lists the company for water analysis and allergen testing as well, so the work isn't limited to a single hazard. The one dissenting note is a 2025 Angi review: the reviewer said the company gave an all-clear on an inspection, then didn't respond to a call or email after a problem turned up afterward — worth asking what happens if something surfaces later. Outside that single review, the recent record is clean (ten reviews in the last six months, none negative), and the ratings hold steady across platforms — 5★ from 101 on Google, 4.9★ from 164 on both Angi and HomeAdvisor. IndoorDoctor fits homeowners who want an unbiased read on mold, air quality, or a similar concern before deciding what to do about it — not a company to call to remediate the problem itself. With several distinct tests on offer, it's worth confirming up front which ones actually apply to your situation.
“The Mastrangelos’ daughter had been suffering from chronic[Lyme disease](http://www.zehnderamerica.com/lyme-disease-prevention/), which is often aggravated by poor indoor air quality and other environmental contaminants. After installing the Zehnder ventilation system, the family noted a significant improvement in their daughter’s health. “Children may be especially vulnerable to potential effects from fiberglass particle inhalation. “We’ve seen a substantial increase in air quality concerns from homeowners with young children experiencing chronic cough and eye irritation,” says Jeffrey Bradley, president of IndoorDoctor LLC. Bradley says fiberglass is often the culprit. IndoorDoctor (which by the way rates the IQAir HealthPro Plus as the best there is) says the problem is especially widespread in new homes. Bradley reports that resolving the insulation issue often resolves the immediate breathing issues a child in a new home is”
“IndoorDoctor, a New England-based indoor air quality testing firm, has seen a steady rise in indoor air quality concerns during winter months.”
I’m so glad I did my research, trusted my instincts, and chose Indoor Doctor for my mold testing. From the initial phone call to the technician visit, I had a great experience. Justin came out to do the inspection today and was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly, honest. One of the main reasons I chose Indoor Doctor is because they strictly handle the inspection and testing side of things rather than remediation, which gave me peace of mind knowing the evaluation would be unbiased. I’m still waiting on my results and full report, but I already feel confident knowing I’ll have a thorough assessment and the guidance of Justin and the Indoor Doctor team once everything comes back. Obviously, dealing with a mold issue isn’t a situation anyone wants to be in, but I’m glad to know I have a team like this to help guide me through it. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, professional, and unbiased company for mold testing, look no further honestly. I’m very happy my research was worth it and I chose Indoor Doctor. Highly recommend. Keep up the great work and thank you for your honesty and support!
Jeff and his team are clearly experts. They have helped us understand and solve complex mold and asbestos problems at two houses.
What a fantastic service Jeff and team offer! Very detailed, educational and constructive, with clear guidelines on how to remediate and move forward. This company is highly recommended.
Justin was very informative and did a really good job checking all areas for hidden mold and advising possible remediation
I purchased and had an EZ Breathe machine installed for moisture and mold levels. Have not retested for mold levels, but the machine holds my cellar humidity at 44% and within a week, my radon levels dropped from 3.9 to .75 and stabilized around that reading when tested with a daily electronic meter. Glad I moved on it. BB
