Charlie executed the architectural plan, but also pivoted appropriately to make sure the final look was elegant and that our expectations for the project were not only met, but exceeded. Achieving our original timing goal was an added bonus, and our first Thanksgiving in our new kitchen was a success! Also, Charlie has been attentive to any issues we have had after the end of the project and he stands behind his work. We did two major projects with him and would do so again.

International Builders and specifically Marcel Malafaia have done a fantastic job on several projects for our family’s home, including a full kitchen gut and remodel when we first moved in plus new floors, interior painting, and exterior improvements. Marcel is highly knowledgeable, responsive, and collaborative, and his team delivers the highest quality craftsmanship consistently. Each time working with Marcel and IB we felt we were looked after attentively and honestly, with no efforts spared to give us the very best result possible.

We renovated our home in 2017 with Charlie and his team. The renovation was extensive and required a lot of creative thinking and hard work. At the end of the project, Charlie and his team were like part of the family. In fact, we still call on Charlie when we have questions or an issue comes up. I originally worked with International Builders for quite a large kitchen and wine room renovation in my home. They came highly recommended from a friend. They did a fantastic job, including amazing custom cabinetry for a very unique space that I would not have been able to buy. The level of detail was astounding. Every inch was thought of and addressed. I could not have been happier with the outcome! After I sold the home a few years ago, I bought a condo in Back Bay Boston. Every inch of it needed to be gutted, (including the windows). All the wiring, all the plumbing and every wall in every room needed to be replaced. I did not seek out other quotes. International Builders, again, went over and above with their level of detail. They did the entire condo (bedrooms, kitchen, bath, den, hallways, foyer, living room). To this day, I still look at and admire the details and the quality of the work they did. There’s not one thing I would have changed! Their recommendations and their thoughtfulness were amazing. I highly recommend them for any project, and would be happy to show anyone the outcome of mine with before and after photos!
