We had a hot water tank that flooded part of our bedroom and our main clothing closet. It was a slow-ish leak at first but it only got worse the more laundry we did, showers we took, etc. When we called Lafave Plumbing in Greenfield on a Thursday at 3:00 pm, we didn't expect to get service for weeks as we know plumbers are in high demand right now and we had to leave a message at first but 5 minutes later, Brian Lafave, the owner, called us back and said he'd be right up - to Colrain - in a 1/2 hour to evaluate everything. When he got to our home, he was super friendly to us and to our equally friendly and eager dogs who just love it when people visit and he didn't mind at all letting them be loose in the house while he examined everything. He quoted us a really fair price and told us he could fit us in the very next day! He and his cousin showed up the next day, were done in less than a couple of hours, and our job was kind of difficult I think as our tank had to go through our small closet, to the back, in a hidden compartment. Brian and his company are awesome and we highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs!

Brian and Justin are very professional. They did the job quickly and correctly. They were remarkably helpful with insight for future projects and had a focus on safety. Brian responded to my call, finished a job he was on, came to my house and installed a new gas valve within 3 hours. I called 4 other local plumbers and didn't get so much as a single call back 5 hours later. I highly recommend Lafave for your plumbing and heating needs!

Excellent service. Called two other local plumbers, no response. Called Lafave and a real person answered the phone and made an appointment the same day to estimate job. Arrived on time and viewed the problem and I received an estimate within a few hours. Ordered work and they confirmed a day and time. Arrived on time and finished the work in record time. High quality parts, no Home Despot Chinese junk, and quality work. I do a lot of my own plumbing but will not touch a sewer job, and was all around very impressed.

Highly recommended. Brian is great. I hired him to repair a 60 year old oil furnace that had malfunctioned. He showed up on time, was extremely professional and personable, and completed the repair in short order at a fair and reasonable rate. He invoices electronically and all services and charges were detailed on the invoice which can be paid online. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

I highly recommend Brian Lafave. He is my go-to-guy for plumbing problems. I had a serious kitchen-sink clog due to old pipes, and Brian was able to assist in less than 24-hours (miraculous) while also maintaining COVID-19 guidelines as he worked in my home.
