Marshall Roofing

Marshall Roofing (Marshall Roofing & Sheet Metal Co., Inc.) is a Peabody-based commercial and industrial roofing and sheet metal contractor serving Eastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire, and Rhode Island — its own site describes decades of commercial and industrial roofing work rather than a residential specialty. The company's site claims more than 80 years in business, while its BBB profile lists 36 years; the two accounts don't match. There's very little written by customers to go on — just three reviews on file. Two recent reviews, from November and December 2025, describe a smooth process from planning through completion, with responsive communication and workmanship the reviewers called exceptional; one called Marshall "one of my go-to contractors." The one other review on file is a serious allegation rather than a quality complaint. In an August 2023 review, a poster claimed the company garnished child support payments from employees' paychecks but did not remit the funds to the state or the children owed them — a specific, uncorroborated claim about the business's conduct as an employer, not about the quality of any roofing work. It's a serious enough allegation to be worth asking about directly, even though it stands alone in the record here. For a commercial or industrial roofing project in its service area, the two detailed 2025 reviews describe solid, responsive work; given the small number of reviews on file and the unresolved allegation above, it's worth doing some additional diligence before signing a contract.
