Removing old carpeting, opening a kitchen wall, adding quartz counters, painting, and installing flooring throughout a unit: one May 2026 customer described MC Construction and Improvement Corp completing that work in time for the place to be cleaned before move-in. The same reviewer said Mauri’s payment structure was clear and upfront.
The company describes itself as a Massachusetts general contractor serving Greater Boston, with residential and commercial construction, renovations, exterior work, flooring, restoration, and technical consulting among its offerings. It identifies Mauri Cabral as founder and CEO and names Wellesley, Newton, Concord, Natick, Acton, Sudbury, Dover, Boston, and Framingham as its service area. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. Google lists a 5-star average from 36 ratings.
Homeowners have described substantial exterior work. In a June 2025 review, a customer reported new James Hardie siding across the house, more than 30 new construction windows, and a deck expansion and rebuild. They praised the crews’ punctuality and respect for the home, and said Mauri was responsive when a minor issue arose. A November 2025 reviewer described a new composite deck completed on time. An August 2025 customer said rotten deck boards were replaced, the steps rebuilt, and a brick walkway and other steps repaired, with custom railings added.
Interior projects include bathroom renovations and accessibility work. A November 2025 bathroom customer said the team worked outside normal business hours one day to finish as promised after delays caused by uncontrollable events. In an April 2025 review, a longtime customer described wheelchair access, custom cabinets for medical supplies, bathroom and bedroom remodeling, handrails, ramps, flooring, plumbing, and electrical work at their home.
Communication also received specific praise. A March 2026 office customer said Mauri discussed options for walls and a door, helped with the design, kept to the required timeline, and sent progress photos. A November 2025 house-and-garage painting customer described receiving an email detailing the planned work. During that project, the crew sent a video of an installation issue with gutters fitted by another company; the homeowner contacted that company, which sent people to fix it.
Commercial customers describe work too: LoveCare Pet Grooming’s May 2026 review praised the remodeling of its second location in Wellesley, and a December 2025 reviewer praised Mauri’s work on a medspa renovation.
