In 2022, one customer praised new deck railings and posts as professional work from a repeat contractor they'd use again; another called out attention to detail across a kitchen expansion, window replacement, addition and new siding, having used the firm for several projects. A third review from the same year is more mixed: the chimney work on a new roof installed in 2020 held up fine, but a section of the roof itself blew off in January 2022, and the customer says they were charged for the repair. Worth asking about: how workmanship issues on prior jobs, like that roof repair, get handled if something goes wrong after the fact. With active state licensing and a long local track record, Stello is a reasonable option for a custom addition, remodel or woodworking project on the Cape — just get the warranty terms in writing.
