A homeowner called My Guys on a weekend in January 2025 with no heat. The trouble turned out to be a stuck oil gauge and an empty tank, and Tom walked them through restarting the system once there was enough diesel in it to last until a delivery — at no charge. Several reviewers on this North Oxford shop's Google page make a similar point about money. One wrote in March 2025 that another company had quoted them for repairs that were not that costly in the first place, and that Tom told them what they could use at a fair price instead. A January 2025 reviewer mentions no high-pressure upselling, and a customer whose central air and furnace were serviced in April 2026 said Tom never tried to increase the cost. The work runs from seasonal service to full installs. Tom and his team put two mini-split systems into a post-and-beam lake house, a 2024 reviewer wrote; another described a ducted Mitsubishi heat pump installed in 2023; a September 2025 customer had a new furnace and AC unit fitted and said the install went promptly. In February 2026 a homeowner who needed a gas boiler serviced got an appointment three days out and a call the morning of asking whether it could be moved earlier. Cold-weather call-outs come up more than once. A family who had just moved to Rutland wrote in January 2025 that their heat pump system failed during a cold snap with no backup in place. A November 2023 reviewer described Tom coming out on an emergency visit for a boiler that quit on the first cold night of the year, and called the price fair. Reviewers keep naming the same two people — Tom and Josiah Messina, described in a January 2025 review as brothers, with a 2025 customer calling the business family-owned. That makes it a good fit for a Worcester-area homeowner who wants the same pair back for the boiler service a year after the install, rather than whoever a dispatcher sends. Get the quote in writing, ask exactly what a maintenance visit covers, and for an install ask how long the system will be down.
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from My Guys Heating & Cooling. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.

Highly recommend! Quick response, reasonable pricing, amazing communication, friendly, courteous, responsive, respectful, and professional. Above and beyond in service!
Best HVAC company in the area. Out of the ordinary. Booked a couple of jobs with them and they always provided the lowest quote with the soundest work. I had something unrelated stop working recently, and I gave them a call. The manager Josiah took his own time to explain how I could simply fix it myself. Any other company would happily put you on the schedule to have you pay 5x what you ought to. Good business.
First class work and even better human beings. Thorough and trustworthy. Highly recommend
Tom Messina from My Guys Heating & Cooling came out to perform routine maintenance on our central air conditioning and furnace. He was excellent - very thorough. Tom explained everything to our satisfaction. Tom never tried to increase the cost which was very reasonable especially for the time spent. Family-owned and definitely our go-to heating & cooling company. Highly recommend. Thank you Tom!
