After 25 years, my driveway was a mess...too far gone to repair. I needed a complete re-do. So I searched online for contractors and contacted 3 for proposals. One never bothered to contact me -- he was out. The other two came out and assessed the drive, one of whom was Walt Nado. Walt impressed me with his knowledge and experience. He explained why the driveway was cracking, and in some places 'alligator cracking' and sinking. And I think he and I hit it off. I felt that I could trust him. So he got the job. Day 1 of the project was demolition and prepping the site. Walt not only was 'on the job', he was operating the backhoe. Again I was impressed that he was actually doing the work (for a full 12 hours I might add), not just standing around supervising. His son Jason was also there along with a great crew of strong, hard-working young guys -- all polite, professional and courteous to boot! Day 2, the crew added some Belgium blocks along one side of the drive (2 other sides had already been done), brought in gravel to increase the base depth and strengthen it (one of the things my old driveway was deficient in), and spent the rest of the work day rolling, leveling, and compacting the material. Day 3 was laying the asphalt. I watched much of the process. As promised, Nado put in a solid 3-4 inches of rolled asphalt. Again, the Nado team (led by Jason and Lou) did an outstanding job! They rolled and rolled the asphalt for hours, both claiming to be obsessive perfectionists. It showed in the final result. I highly recommend Walt, Jason, Lou and the entire Nado Paving & Construction team. Now I know why I see so many Nado Paving signs all over Westport!

Nado paved our driveway in Weston, CT . They were such hard workers, so diligent & committed to doing a great job!! We were so impressed by their work ethic and kindness to our family. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!!!!!!
