A carpet replacement that kept a home office usable is one customer's account of North Oxford Mills. In an April 2026 Google review, the customer said the company accommodated the requested start date and order of rooms, with the office back up and running in less than a day. They described Mike and the other installers as friendly and neat during several days in the home. The North Oxford business sells and installs residential and commercial flooring. Its website lists carpet, hardwood, tile, laminate, luxury vinyl and other flooring, and names Worcester as its service area. The company describes itself as family-owned, with Robert Mack becoming owner in 2005. Its founding date differs by source: the website says 1970, while BBB gives a 1965 start date. BBB lists the company as accredited with an A+ grade; Google shows a 4.7-star average from 115 ratings. Carpet installations feature in customers' dated accounts. A July 2025 reviewer described two installers replacing carpet in a large master bedroom, completing the job about three hours after the second installer arrived. The customer praised the fit along the baseboards, said the baseboards were undamaged and described a follow-up call from owner Rob. In a May 2025 review, another customer praised a fitted stair runner and a showroom where they could see whole carpets rather than small samples. A separate customer writing that month said Robin helped find in-stock carpet in suitable sizes and neutral shades, and described the installation as professional and quick once scheduled. Price comparisons were favorable in two 2025 accounts: a March reviewer said North Oxford Mills was the lowest of four quotes by a few hundred dollars, while a June reviewer praised the pricing against other companies and said measuring to finalize the quote went smoothly. A November 2024 customer had a different sales experience. They said Rob insinuated they could not afford the flooring and told them to call back because he would forget about their quote; they took their business elsewhere.
