The company's website lists a service area that includes Windsor, Hartford, Glastonbury, Enfield and Farmington, and says it has been in business over 25 years. In a recent review, Tiffany returned a call within minutes and scheduled the visit, and Jeff and his son showed up on time; that customer called the bill reasonable. A 2024 customer said Jeff walked them through the options before his team replaced a 50-year-old gas furnace, and that the installers explained how the new system works. A 2024 reviewer wrote that the company replaced a leaking 50-gallon gas power-vented tank with a tankless system. A 2023 customer said the company cleaned roots out of a sewer line and ran a test before finishing. A 2025 customer said the company showed up the same evening they called for repairs needed before closing on a home sale. A recent customer said Nunes had serviced their furnace for years, and that another expert later found it had never been cleaned properly; that customer also described the owner as condescending. A 2025 customer said nobody showed up or called for a scheduled appointment. A 2022 customer said that after three visits and $900 they still had no hot water, having been told a mixing valve needed replacing and then never hearing back. Had to get a washer and dryer hooked up. Nunes plumbing came out a few years ago and gave me a quote. Unfortunately at the time we couldn’t proceed. However now that we decided to, they kept to their original quote. Despite not being able to complete the electrical due to circumstances out of their control. They could have easily bumped that quote up a lot as here we are 3 years later in a world where prices are skyrocketing by the month, but instead they did not do that. They did a great job and are fantastic people. Definitely recommend. 10/10.
I like supporting family owned, local businesses that are involved in the community. This level of commitment shines in the quality of service that Nunes Plumbing provides for their customers. I called initially and left a message. Within minutes, Tiffany returned my call and scheduled the service call. Jeff and son showed up on time and addressed all my requests efficiently and competently. I can’t say enough about their positive can-do attitudes. And I was very happy with the reasonable bill I received.

Worst company in the world. The owner is an absolute jerk. We had hired them for years to service our furnace and when it stopped working, he threw a fit and was very condescending when we were trying to communicate the issues we were having. Turns out when we had another expert come in, Nunes had never been properly cleaning our furnace, which was the exact reason it was having so many difficulties.
Honest and fair priced. Also they do great work. Had a hot water heater installed.
