Parry Windows & Doors hand-builds windows and doors from its shop in Chilmark, on Martha's Vineyard — work specific enough that a Martha's Vineyard Magazine feature credited a whole home's exterior window and door package to the shop, mullions and all, made from sustainably harvested eucalyptus. The company says it was founded by Will Parry in 1976 and settled on the Vineyard by 1986; it describes itself today as a family business run by his son, Cameron Parry. The two written Google reviews on file don't read like quick pats on the back. In a 2015 review, a homeowner lists awning windows, XL lift-and-slide doors, and glass entry doors installed throughout their house and credits the design with cutting winter heating needs. In a 2017 review, another customer describes ten sets of solid mahogany French doors built to last with little upkeep. Houzz lists four completed projects and names the kind of work the shop takes on — structural and curved fenestration, elliptical windows, arched French doors, operable skylights. Both detailed accounts are close to a decade old, and Houzz doesn't yet show a review of its own, so anyone booking today is relying on that older record plus the shop's editorial profile rather than a fresh string of customer feedback. Parry is a fit for a highly customized window or door — a historic-restoration piece, an oversized corner slider, an architect-specified design — more than a standard replacement job; worth checking current lead times and how they'd handle a specific design before committing.
