QUALITY PLUS CARPENTRY

Quality Plus Carpentry works out of 85 Queens Way in Framingham, and in its Google reviews one name does the talking: Werner. A July 2023 customer said he showed up on time, charged reasonably for the job and was accommodating to work with; another that same month credited him with hiring careful, trustworthy workers. In November 2023 a homeowner described polite, professional crews and steady communication, and said they were happy with all the work that had been done. Its four Google ratings all sit at 5 stars, and the Better Business Bureau lists the company as a general contractor and grades it A. The BuildZoom profile advertises a wide range for a carpentry shop — framing and hardwood flooring through kitchen, bathroom and basement remodels, roofing and wood fences. One thing to settle first: the Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration tied to the company, #206144, is expired on the state registry, and BuildZoom's profile shows it lapsing in 2024. Ask whether it has been renewed, and get the current number before residential work starts. For carpentry and small remodeling work where you want a contractor you deal with directly, Werner is who the 2023 customers worked with. Put the scope and the price in writing, and ask for a certificate of liability insurance.
