Every person who writes about R&R Heating & AC names the same man: Bobby. He shows up, he explains, and by the accounts on Google he does it on the day he said he would. The Beverly company works the full range of home heating and cooling — service calls, boiler work, and full system installs. In a November 2025 review, a customer described Jacob and Bobby arriving to service a boiler, repipe a leaking condensation line and run a CO test, then staying to walk through the preventative maintenance he could do himself before the spring visit. A month earlier, another homeowner described a central air install done through the Mass Save program, with Bob explaining each step, asking their preferences while still recommending best practice, and finishing on schedule. The pattern in those accounts is punctuality and explanation rather than price. Writing in February 2023, a customer whose heat would not come on said the crew arrived the same day at the exact time promised, diagnosed the fault, left for a part, and had heat running within an hour of getting back. A February 2025 reviewer who had bought a fixer-upper and needed a whole new HVAC system said R&R was the only contractor they had used who came in on or ahead of schedule. A June 2026 customer credited the office side too, naming Ann-Marie for handling communication. What should temper all of it is volume. Five ratings, all five stars, is a small record — enough to see a consistent way of working, not enough to know how the company handles a job that goes wrong. To their credit these are not one-line raves: they name technicians, describe specific assemblies, and span 2023 to 2026. But there is no negative account anywhere to weigh against them, and no licence we verified against the state. A good fit for North Shore homeowners who want a small outfit where the owner is on the job — heat that has stopped, a boiler that needs servicing, or a Mass Save central-air install with someone who will handle the paperwork. Confirm their Massachusetts licensing and insurance directly before booking, and ask what the Mass Save process looks like on your house.

Bobby and his team are wonderful. They are responsive, respectful, and do quality work. I am so grateful to have them on my team! Ann-Marie handles all the communication and she is a gem. Thank you, R&R for all of the work you’ve done at my house!

I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I received from R&R Heating & AC, LLC. Jacob and Bobby came out to perform a boiler service, repipe a leaking condensation pipe, and conduct a CO test. Both technicians were utter professionals who clearly knew their craft inside and out. What really impressed me was their thoroughness and willingness to educate. They didn’t just complete the work and leave—they took the time to discuss preventative maintenance steps I could take on my own before my next service in the spring. It’s rare to find technicians who are both highly skilled and genuinely interested in helping customers maintain their systems. The work was completed efficiently and professionally. I felt confident in their expertise from start to finish. I highly recommend R&R Heating & AC, LLC and will absolutely be calling them for future HVAC needs.

We hired R&R to install central air through the Mass Save program and it was a great choice. Bob was kind, professional, and thorough, and his team members carried the same mentality. Bob took the time to explain each step of the install process in detail, asked for our preference on things while still recommending best practices, and completed all of the work on schedule. Anna Maria was also a pleasure to work with; she took the time to guide us through the Mass Save process and stayed on top of everything. It was a great experience and we intend on using them again to convert to an on-demand water heating system in the future. We can't recommend the team enough!

OH MY GOSH! We cannot say enough good things about Bobby and his team! We purchased our house last year (a fixer upper) and knew we'd need new a new HVAC system. Bobby came over super quickly, was SO friendly and helpful, and explained our options. He worked so hard to provide us options that worked for our needs and budget. We have worked with A LOT of different contractors since buying our home, and R&R has really exceeded all of our exceptions. They're the only contractor that we've used that has been on schedule (or ahead of schedule), they've followed up regularly, provided fabulous customer service, and been so helpful and educating on all things HVAC related. Anna Maria was such a great resource in the office too - helping us to navigate all the various Mass Save programs, responding quickly to questions or concerns, and facilitating the project being completely to schedule. Both of my sisters, our neighbors, and a bunch of family friends have used R&R and we are all #TEAMBOBBY all the way! Look no further - you've found your HVAC team ;)

I called with a service repair as my heat wouldn’t turn on as a recommendation from a family member who had used their services prior. R&R (Bob) came same day at the EXACT time they said they would. They figured out the problem, left to go get a part, came back and heat was back on within an hour of their return. Very friendly, explained the problem, and gave it to me straight. I highly recommend, it was like a close friend had come and fixed/serviced my furnace.
