A 2026 review says Bob Fleming replaced a condenser heating and cooling system, and another credits Bob with installing Ecobee Smart Thermostats in an older home. In a 2026 review, Bob Fleming came out the day after the call and found a power surge had fried the transformer and zone control board of an attic furnace, both of which needed replacing. In a 2025 review, Bob switched a home from oil heat to an electric heat pump, partnered with an electrician on the electrical upgrade, and handled the Mass Save paperwork. A 2025 review says Bob, the owner, crawled around a 120 degree attic to diagnose and repair an air handling unit on one of the hottest weekends of the year. A 2026 Google review says Bob scheduled a visit for a mini split AC that had stopped working, texted that he was running late, and then never came that night or followed up about another day.
Unreal job great work and does it right
Unfortunate experience based on the other reviews here. I reached out needing help fixing my mini split AC that had stopped working in the middle of July. Bob couldn't come until a week later, which I was fine with and not in a huge rush. So we scheduled a date and time for him to come check it out. I cut a vacation short in order to be home that day. Bob texted me 5 minutes before our scheduled time saying that he was running late, which wasn't a problem. Several hours later he texted again that he was still running late but should still make it and would keep me posted. Finally at 9:30pm, having not heard anything else from him, I texted assuming he was no longer going to make it. He called and said he wasn't going to make it that night and apologized, saying he'd try to move things around for Friday (this was on Wednesday). I was still very patient, willing to wait until whenever he was free. That was the last I heard from him. Never heard anything about Friday, or any other day. He seems like a nice guy, just bad communication and scheduling skills, at least in this case.
Bob came out quickly to fix my faulty AC unit. Excellent service and very fair price. AC is blowing cold now!
Excellent experience from the start to finish. He quickly diagnosed the problem with my condenser as a bad capacitor and clearly explained what was going on and what needed to be done. He was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and professional, and made me feel completely comfortable with the entire process. The repair was done efficiently, and I felt the price was more than fair for the service and expertise. It's refreshing to deal directly with an owner who clearly takes pride in his work and cares about his customer. I would absolutely recommend him and will definitely call him again for any future HVAC needs.
We were without A/C with a heatwave and a family reunion coming. Bob fit us in to his schedule. The installation was a challenge with different size units causing a rebuild of the existing ductwork. He did all the work efficiently and professionally. I highly recommend RLF Heating
