The company presents itself as an Osterville custom home builder and remodeler working across Cape Cod: new construction, renovations and additions, brought in alongside independent architects and designers from pre-design through the final walkthrough. It calls itself locally owned, and testimonials on its own site name Jeremiah "Miah" Hegarty and his partner Ryan Mecley as the people running it, with Chris Girard as an associate. It also appears in the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce business directory. One more feature rounds out its public profile: Boston Design Guide, in July 2025, wrote up a family outdoor retreat it says the firm constructed. So the praise reaching the open web comes from design magazines and award juries rather than from homeowners writing about their own jobs — a narrow base for a builder handling projects this size, and the reason for a cautious read here rather than a confident one. Two things to pin down before calling. The site names Osterville alone as its service area, so ask plainly whether your town is in range. And since both awards attach to the same barn, ask for references from other completed projects — new construction, an addition, a whole-house renovation — plus the company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration number. A reasonable call if you are planning a high-end Cape Cod build or a substantial renovation and want a builder who works hand-in-hand with your architect. Just do the reference-checking yourself; there is not yet a public homeowner track record to lean on.
