In a July 2025 review, a homeowner described a new roof and several replaced skylights on their large house — all in one day — and then more than 1,700 square feet of water-damaged James Hardie siding taken off and put back. That is the size of job Seaside Roofing & Siding takes on from North Chatham, where the company says it has been family-owned and working Cape Cod since 1999, about 27 years by its own count. It lists Harwich, Dennis, Chatham, Sandwich, Brewster and Orleans as the towns it covers.
Most reviewers name Ken LeBlanc, the owner, and they tend to describe the same sequence: he comes out and walks the job, a date gets set, and the crew arrives on it. A June 2025 customer said Ken spent a few hours with them answering questions while they made choices about the new roof. A July 2026 customer had a detailed proposal several weeks in advance with an expected work date and said the date was right on — the dumpster arrived, the roof was replaced. A June 2026 homeowner who came to Seaside after a predatory contractor tried to scam their elderly mother wrote that the terms they agreed held, the roof was replaced, some siding and a storm door went with it, and the cleanup was spotless.
It is not all full roofs. An October 2025 customer described a chimney flashing replacement after a nor'easter — the old lead out, cracks filled with mortar, new lead in. An April 2025 reviewer had a roof repair and a skylight installed. On Angi, an August 2025 customer said their cedar shingle siding job started and finished on time with no delays. Several reviews talk about price, and they talk about it well: an October 2025 siding-and-trim customer said the company stayed true to its quoted price, and a November 2024 homeowner said Seaside was not the cheapest quote but was the clearest about what the job involved. Punctual starts and a clean site at the end come up in several more.
One March 2025 review runs the other way, at one star. That customer hired the company to replace the front of a garage's siding, two windows and trim, and wrote that Ken arrived after his crew, went over the scope with the foreman, chatted, and left — and that the foreman left a short while after him. If your job is a smaller exterior repair rather than a full roof, that is the thing to settle in advance: who runs the site, and how long they are on it.
The company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #213253, is active on the state registry, and BuildZoom's profile counts 193 permitted projects. Angi's listing adds free estimates, warranties and Spanish spoken, and says emergency service is not offered. For a full roof, a siding replacement or skylight work in those Cape towns, this is a straightforward call — get the work date and the name of your on-site foreman in writing before the dumpster shows up.
