Seaside Roofing & Siding works North Chatham and the rest of Cape Cod — Harwich, Dennis, Chatham, Sandwich, Brewster and Orleans, by its own account — and on Google, where it holds a 4.9★ average from 28 ratings, the same name comes up in nearly every review: Ken LeBlanc. Customers describe him showing up personally to walk the job, staying on-site with his crew, and being the one who explains material and color choices before anyone signs anything. The company says it's family-owned and has served the Cape since 1999. Roof replacement is what people hire them for. Reviewers describe full tear-offs and re-roofs — asphalt shingle, cedar shake, one job replacing over 1,700 square feet of water-damaged James Hardie siding alongside a new roof and several skylights in a single day — plus repair work like a post-nor'easter chimney flashing replacement. Siding, trim and window jobs show up too, usually bundled with a roofing project rather than done standalone. Building permit records back the review pattern: BuildZoom counts 193 permitted jobs tied to the company. A repeated theme across the reviews is the cleanup — protected flowerbeds, no stray nails, sites left as they were found — and a few customers mention getting a detailed estimate within 48 hours of calling. The one dissent in an otherwise uniform record came in a March 2025 review: a customer reported that after Ken and the foreman went over the scope of a garage-siding and window job, both left, and a fastener from a fixture went missing on a crew member's watch. It stands against 22 other five-star reviews running from 2024 into mid-2026, but it's worth asking how a smaller add-on job is staffed and supervised compared with a full roof replacement. The company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (#213253) is active, verified directly against the state registry, and held by Seaside Roofing and Siding Inc. BuildZoom separately lists two older numbers under the same business name — one shown inactive, one BuildZoom last checked as active with a March 2025 expiration — neither independently verified here, more likely prior registrations than a live problem. BuildZoom also attributes ownership to a Joseph Jacinto, which sits alongside the company's own site and its reviews consistently crediting Ken LeBlanc as owner/president — most likely two co-owners rather than a conflict. For a full roof or siding replacement on the Cape, this is a shop with a long, name-recognized track record behind it. Confirm current pricing and scheduling directly, and for a smaller job, ask specifically who will be on site.
I had my roof replaced today by Seaside Roofing (NOT Seashore Roofing) and it was the most seamless, amazingly organized job I’ve had done! Received my detailed proposal several weeks ago and was given an expected work date and it was point on. The dumpster was delivered, workers came with Ed Shaw present but let me tell you their workers were in harmony! The roof has been replaced and it doesn’t even look like tons of debris that was laying in tarps coming off of my roof was even on my lawn. None of my extensive flower beds were trampled. Not a nail in sight and back to the original condition before they started. My husband and I are amazed that Ed stated to me he overestimated the job and he will adjust the cost accordingly. We are thankful for his professional roofing service and highly recommend him.
Hired ken to replace our roof after a predatory contractor tried to scam my elder mom, ken met me went over the job we agreed on terms his crew showed up roof was replaced and cleanup was spotless they replaced some siding and a storm door overall his communication and work is by far above the grade would recommend seaside roofing siding without hesitation!!!!
Seaside Roofing (Ken and his Team) provided expert and timely repair to our roof leak following the recent nor'easter. Specifically, Seaside Roofing completed a Chimney Flashing Replacement including removing the existing lead, filling in cracks with mortar, installing new lead flashing and applying caulking around the flashing to ensure watertight protection. Job well done and thanks!
Ken and his team did an amazing job on our siding and trim. They worked quickly, efficiently and cleanly! Stayed true to their quoted price. My neighbors were all impressed with how well the team worked. Our house is now the best looking on the block. Cannot recommend Seaside enough.
Ken and his crew did a fantastic job! They were on time, very neat, excellent workmanship and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!
