Install day is the part people write about. A May 2024 customer who had bought a used pool and asked a lot of questions beforehand said the crew put it in within a matter of hours and it looked brand new. Another May 2024 homeowner had the yard cleared first and the pool built the same visit, and a June 2025 reviewer said the job was finished within a month of asking for it. Superior Pools & Const runs out of Oxford, Massachusetts, and its home improvement contractor registration is active on the state registry under Pat Nadeau. Angi and HomeAdvisor both describe it as family-run and list pool sales and installation, liner changes, wall and filter repairs, openings and closings, site work, patios and retaining walls. Pat's name is in most of the write-ups, and so is how the crew behaves in the yard. A September 2025 customer who had an old pool taken down and a new one put in said Pat noticed a post damaged in shipment and went to the pool manufacturer about it. A July 2025 Angi reviewer described a crew that did not talk much, stayed off their phones and got the job done. In June 2026 a homeowner wrote about a crew respectful of their property and plantings, and a September 2024 customer said everything was put back the way it should be. One June 2025 reviewer whose pool went in back in 2021 said Pat came out that spring to look at winter damage and spent about 30 minutes straightening it out. Then there is 2023. A June 2023 customer who had a new liner, floor and wall pads and a patch repair wrote that the pool was half empty by that November and completely empty by January, and that texts over those months went nowhere until he finally answered. Two other 2023 reviewers reached for the same word — difficult — one calling the company unprofessional and rude, the other writing that you never get a call back. Google sits at 3.8 across 20 ratings; Angi shows 5.0 from ten and HomeAdvisor 5.0 from nine. For a new pool with the site work that goes with it, the 2024 through 2026 customers describe a crew that shows up, builds it and cleans up. Before you sign, pin down what the liner warranty covers, who you call if the water level drops after the crew leaves, and how quickly you should expect an answer.
