A July 2026 review describes two technicians diagnosing an AC issue and installing a new thermostat the same day, after a different company had quoted a full replacement unit for over $20,000. Other reviews, several naming the same recurring techs (Tony, John, Jerry, Jesse), describe years of repeat business: in a December 2023 review, a customer said two new Carrier AC condensers and air handlers came in more than $5,000 cheaper than competing quotes for the same equipment tier, and a July 2023 review from the same era says the customer had used the company for over 20 years. On Reddit, the company comes up repeatedly as a recommendation in North Shore heating threads, with one 2023 commenter saying a heat-pump and ductwork install came in at half the price of other bids. There's a real cluster of complaints worth knowing about too. Three separate July 2025 reviews describe the same $200 seasonal tune-up special followed by new problems within a week — in one case an overflowing drain pump and a bad smell in the house, in another a lost AC — with reviewers saying the company would not come back to fix what the tune-up was supposed to cover. Separately, a November 2025 review described being quoted $750 for a furnace part that turned out to cost $197, and said the board was reinstalled with wiring left disconnected, so the repair failed again within a week. A June 2026 review also described a scheduling mix-up where a technician's visit fell outside a confirmed appointment window with no follow-up contact. For routine seasonal maintenance and larger installs, the long-running named technicians draw consistent praise and competitive pricing; given the tune-up complaints, it's worth confirming in writing exactly what a seasonal special covers and following up promptly if anything seems off afterward.
