The Plumbing Wizard

Customers of The Plumbing Wizard call it about their heat as well as their pipes. The Malden company holds a 5.0 from 15 Google ratings, and its site describes a family-owned plumbing and HVAC business founded 12 years ago by Brian Ellis, now run with his son Michael, serving Malden, MA and Hampton, NH. An April 2026 customer said Mike and his team fixed a bizarre problem with a combi boiler that was difficult to diagnose and serviced the unit while there. In a January 2026 review, a homeowner with an emergency heating situation said Mike came quickly and fixed a Navien heating system that needed a heat exchanger replacement; the same customer had used him on a mini-split and old copper pipes. Another April 2026 reviewer called while the company was doing a job in the neighborhood; Michael answered, came right over to look at an expansion tank issue and left maintenance recommendations. In a January 2025 review, a customer described converting an old oil boiler to a high-efficiency propane system on a short time frame. On the plumbing side, a January 2026 customer who had used Brian for almost a decade listed water heaters, dishwashers, leaks, clogged pipes and help choosing a water filtration system. A January 2025 reviewer hired Brian Ellis for a major rehab of a 125-year-old duplex, called the work "by the book" and said it made for smooth sailing with contractors and inspectors. In August 2026, a customer described a difficult repair in a challenging location done at a good price.
