Viola Associates is a Hyannis pool builder with a shelf of trade awards. In 2010 the Cape Cod Times reported that the company, owned by John Viola, earned first-place awards for a residential pool renovation in Osterville and for a water feature in Chatham, plus a second-place award for an indoor pool built in Falmouth. In 2013 the Barnstable Patriot reported it was recognized by Pool and Spa News as one of the top 50 pool and spa builders in the nation. A 2016 Cape Cod Life piece says it designed and installed Tsotsis's pool. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active on the state registry, and the company's website says it has been in business 20 years. In a 2025 Google review, a homeowner moving off Cape after 11+ years with John Laliberte, Heather and team called their experiences with Viola "top notch over the years." A 2022 BuildZoom review went the other way: "Do not use Viola Pools for reliable pool service and maintenance! They cannot be relied on!"
“Workers with Viola Associates of Hyannis were conducting site work about three feet down when they unearthed the bones.”
“The pools are a specialty of Hyannis-based Viola Associates, which designed and installed Tsotsis’s pool.”
“Hyannis-based company Viola Associates was recently recognized as one of the top 50 pool and spa builders in the nation. It was the only company on Cape Cod and among only three from Massachusetts to be recognized by Pool and Spa News.”
“Viola Associates, owned by John Viola, earned first-place awards for a residential pool renovation in Osterville; and first place for a unique water feature located in Chatham. Viola won a second-place award for an indoor pool built in Falmouth.”
“Viola says he never would have believed that the small irrigation business he started in 1984 would blossom into a well-known firm providing comprehensive services to customers Cape-wide as well as on the islands, and the South Shore.”
After 11+ years with John Laliberte, Heather and team, we sold our home and moving off Cape. Our experiences with Viola were top notch over the years. I highly recommend Viola Associates.
