A1 Water & Mold Removal MA

A1 Water & Mold Removal is a Somerville-based mold remediation and water damage restoration company serving the Greater Boston area, handling flooding, sewage backups, storm cleanup, and mold in everything from basements to HVAC systems. The written record here, more than fifty reviews stretching back to 2022, is strikingly consistent: fast response and thorough follow-through, whatever the emergency. A 2026 review described a pipe leak that flooded a basement and left mold in a closet; the company had someone out that Saturday and a full crew by Monday. A 2022 review described a sewer backup into a basement — 'one of those nightmare situations' — cleaned up so well the reviewer said the basement was left cleaner than before. Another 2022 review described a toilet overflow answered within 30 minutes, even on a holiday. The mold work in particular gets specific praise. One 2025 review described mold discovered hidden in an HVAC system; the crew cleaned every duct, and the reviewer, who has asthma, said they hadn't had a flare-up since. Another 2025 review described attic mold from water damage resolved, and a 2022 review described a new homeowner's basement mold problem explained and cleaned up quickly after moving in. Crews were also credited with working through the day to save hardwood floors after a washing-machine overflow. For water damage or mold, especially something urgent, this is a company with a long, specific, and uniformly positive written record for exactly that kind of work — the volume and consistency across years is itself notable for a restoration company.
