Above and Beyond Home Inspections

We were fortunate to use Strout Inspections for a walk through pre-purchase inspection this past Sunday morning. My work schedule limited my availability so they suggested the next Sunday morning. Our inspector arrived before we did and was able to begin the outside inspection in advance. He was meticulous in his observations and provided context for everything he found. The home we are buying is over 100 years old so the attention to detail and context was necessary and appreciated. I recommend Strout Inspections.

Such a great experience with Above and Beyond Home Inspections. Scott responded very quickly and my home inspection was done within two days of contacting him. He spent significant time evaluating the property and taking detailed notes and photographs of all the findings. He took time to explain the issues, the source of the problems and potential corrective measures. The inspection report was received the next day and was very detailed and comprehensive. Did not fully inspect attic. $2400 in dropping and rodent removal was needed first month in new home. Did not fully inspect water filtration system. New tank was needed, $2700 during second week in new home. Reached out after inspection for referrals and never received an call back. They were professional and on time. They provided a good and thorough report but we later found these two major items that should have been seen.

It was very easy to work with Mike Strout. He arrived in time and thoroughly inspected the condo. After inspection he showed all the small and big issues and made good recommendations.
