A recent customer with an older system that wasn't cooling said Marcus booked them into a cancellation slot, handled everything directly with their tenant, and had the system fixed within an hour and a half. That customer said Marcus gave an honest assessment of the 1980s unit — good for the winter, but parts are outdated — and called his pricing very fair. In a recent review, a customer said Marcus fixed their boiler. C&M Heating and Cooling describes itself on its website as a family-operated business specializing in HVAC services for the home, and says it has been in business seven years. On its BBB profile, the company describes residential heating and cooling work throughout New London County, including installation, repair and seasonal maintenance, oil tank installation and removal, and oil-to-gas conversions. Its BBB page shows an A+ grade and accreditation. A 2024 customer said Marcus replaced a gas water heater and venting, and wrote that he "constructed an organized reliable system" out of the home's heating and plumbing. A 2023 customer whose relatively new boiler stopped working said Marcus showed up that same evening and performed both maintenance and repair on it. A 2023 customer in Norwich said Marcus replaced corroded pipes on a combi-boiler system and made the repairs in one afternoon. A 2022 customer said Mark replaced their failed steam furnace in an 1870s house once the parts came in, and that a steam leak was found and repaired. A 2024 customer described a stalled air-conditioning repair: Marcus diagnosed a crack in the TXV, and three weeks later the unit was still ripped apart. That 2024 customer wrote that Marcus said the part he had wasn't exact and he was leaving on vacation, and that no call came after. The same 2024 customer later hired a professional who ordered the direct replacement part and installed it. A 2025 customer called the company unreliable and unprofessional and said false and misleading information led to further damages that cost more to repair.
Highly recommend Marcus at C&M Heating and Cooling! I called him two days ago about an older HVAC system that wasn't cooling. He answered right away, listened to the situation, and booked me for a cancellation slot this morning. Marcus arrived early, called to let me know, and saved me a 40-minute drive by handling everything directly with my tenant. Within an hour and a half, the system was completely fixed. He gave me an honest assessment of our 1980s unit—letting me know it's good for the winter but that we should plan for future options since parts are outdated—which I really appreciated. Marcus is easy to talk to, completely honest, and his pricing is very fair. It gives me great peace of mind to have a responsive, reliable HVAC company to call. I will definitely use C&M again!
Marcus did a excellent job fixing my boiler, I will definitely use C&M for future repairs & service. Thank you Marcus!

They are very unreliable and unprofessional. We were given false and misleading information in which led to further damages that cost us a lot more to repair. We will make sure that none of our families, friends, and neighbors. Never use you for any services whatsoever.
