A customer writing in May 2022 thanked Coachlight Carpets for working within their budget and described installer Andy as prompt, professional and thorough. The Centerville flooring business, on Route 28, says it serves Cape Cod and is family owned and operated by father and son Steve and David Luciani. Its website traces the business to the Luciani family in 1970; BBB instead gives 1971 as the start year. The company advertises carpet, hardwood, luxury vinyl and laminate flooring. BBB describes carpet sales and installation. Its website also claims it was the number-one PERGO dealer in New England for five years running. Google reports a five-star average from five ratings. A June 2026 reviewer calls Steve knowledgeable and helpful. The May 2022 customer praised Steve’s attention to detail as well as the installation. A different customer, writing in June 2025, praised Steve before their carpet had been installed, so that account describes the purchase experience rather than completed installation work. BBB lists Coachlight as not accredited and explicitly marks it Not Rated. Those are the bureau’s designations, not a customer complaint or a letter grade.
“For more than two decades, Stephen Luciani, owner of the adjacent Coachlight Carpets, has placed more than a dozen small and often comical signs on the traffic island at the intersection, but that came to an abrupt stop last week.”
“As his little granddaughter, a newly-minted first grader, skipped around Luciani’s Coachlight Carpets store on Route 28 this week, he recalled how the vigil – estimated at the time by the Patriot’s John Watters to be attended by 1,000 people – came to happen.”
“Stephen Luciani, owner of Coachlight Carpets, has been placing signs — often with comical and uplifting messages — on the traffic island at the intersection of Old Stage Road and Route 28 for more than 20 years, and believes the policy shift may be directed at him.”
Steve is very knowledgeable and helpful.
Steve is the best ! My carpet isn't installed yet but I'm sure it will be great! He offered me $50 which I declined so he can give it back to veterans. And on my way out I grabbed myself a Klondike bar. That's all I needed to know I picked the business 🇺🇸
Exceptional service and installation. Thank you Steve for working within my budget, as well as, for your detail oriented service. Out installer, Andy did an outstanding job, was prompt, professional and thorough. Exceptional service!
