Our previous condenser caught on fire. Gervais sent a technician out right away and had them inspect the machine. Once we confirmed that the machines could not be repaired their team went to work sending out a tech who priced a new option for us that very day and installed it a day later. We felt we paid a fair price and feel confident in the 12 year warranty. Everyone on the Gervais team, from Joey Bush to Cody and Jose Vega were all professional, easy to communicate with, and speedy.

I made an appointment for a cleaning of my furnace,2 men came. My furnace was in good working condition when they arrived. They were in my basement for 15 minutes when they came upstairs and said we have to show you something. He then said we hadto shut your shut your furnace off to clean itand we’re unable to get it running again. he then said we didn’t do anything to it. This guy is my witness which was the other technician. They went on to say looks like you had some water damage at one point and maybe some mice droppings. I think your board is gone. It will cost about $2000 for a new board but then you could have something go wrong with your heat sensor now you’re talking $5000 with no guarantee that it would be fixed so we recommend you get a new furnace between 21 and $28,000. I dropped my job because the previous furnace the one that I have only cost me $8000.12 years ago and of course they went on to say we could put it in today. I called my original plumber who’s done work for me before and he says they did something there’s no way that there was a problem. Your furnace was working fine before they touched it. The next day I got a second opinion and some people came from another furnace company. I believe it was heritage and when they took the cover off of the furnace, 2 cups of water came pouring out and it was not wet before these people came at all. They said the board was totally drenched and ruined and I would need a new board and they recommended a new furnace for $18-$21,000. My Plumber my original guy that works for me that had just got back on from vacation and he said he’d come the next day and he came and he said yeah they definitely did something to it but now it is totally ruined and you do need a new furnace. I ended up getting the best deal that I could and had to put in a furnace for $15,000. All because I trusted them to just come and do a cleaning for $79 when my son called Gervais Plumbing, the person on the line said that he looked at their work order and on their work order they had written that when they arrived at my home, my furnace was in non-working condition, which was a complete lie and also it was freezing outside. when I called Gervais Plumbing and spoke to someone on the phone, he said there’s nothing he could do for me, but maybe give me a senior citizen discount. I don’t know how he knew. I was a senior citizen. First of all. This whole thing is so upsetting you put your trust in people and they take a elderly woman, single, and take advantage in the hopes of making a buck.!!!

Absolute ripoff, along with shady business practices. They were prompt and courteous, but thats about it. The technician came and had to replace a $200 part on my boiler, it took him under an hour to do the work. I was charged almost $1000, including their $89 diagnostic fee.

Called Gervais, talked to a human, scheduled appointment. Service tech arrived on time, serviced my boiler and got heat running. Very professional and experienced.

Unprofessional in all senses of the word. Ive had to work with Gervais due to a warranty on a recently installed furnace.
