Marblehead Carpentry, LLC is a North Shore carpentry shop run out of Marblehead, taking on finish and trim work, deck repair, structural fixes like rot and beam replacement, and custom built-ins for Marblehead, Swampscott, Salem and Beverly. Reviewers keep coming back to the same two names — Tim and his teammate Bobby — and the same theme: precise, clean work that gets finished rather than left half-done. A pair of 2023 reviews describe custom laundry rooms built from scratch, including moving plumbing and electrical in-house, finished within budget and, in one case, in 2.5 weeks. A 2026 review says Tim’s team turned a small problem into ‘a major project’ and still delivered amazing work in a challenging situation, and another customer from earlier this year calls the craftsmanship ‘unparalleled’ and notes Tim fully cleans up rather than leaving a job semi-finished. One thing worth checking before booking: Marblehead Carpentry’s Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, held under Timothy Koehn, expired in July 2025 after being filed in 2023 — worth confirming it’s been renewed before signing a contract. For finish carpentry, built-ins, or a deck or structural repair on the North Shore, this is a small operation with a short but consistently strong review record — just verify the current registration status directly.
