Michael Weiss Designs

Michael Weiss Designs is a Marblehead workshop and gallery showroom where Michael Weiss designs and builds custom woodwork — kitchens, cabinetry, built-ins, closet systems and sculptural furniture, plus smaller wood gift pieces sold online. The three reviews on file, all from 2023, describe genuinely custom work: one review from December praised a kitchen countertop project as professional, prompt and delivered as promised; another from October described custom kitchen and bathroom cabinets with cherry tops, calling Michael a true craftsman; and a third, from August 2023, told the story of turning a son's handpainted highchair tray into a keepsake for his 30th birthday — a one-of-a-kind piece the customer called stunning. Before this business, Weiss was the founding principal of a separate, earlier company, Interior Dimensions, LLC, which built premium architectural woodwork from 1990 to 2010; the awards and magazine features his site cites (a First Place Luxury Living Award, New England Home, Boston Globe Magazine) belong to that earlier firm, not to Michael Weiss Designs. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. For a custom cabinetry or one-of-a-kind woodworking project, the craftsmanship described here is specific and consistent — just keep in mind that any awards you see referenced trace to Weiss's prior company, not this one.
