Six reviews, all from 2026, all five stars — and nearly every one of them is about a person rather than a company. Stephanie is the name that recurs: clients describe her sourcing vintage chairs to sit with an antique table, finding rugs they say they never would have known about, and working with what a house already has instead of replacing it. Moontide Studio describes itself as a residential interior design firm based in Marblehead, working alongside homeowners, architects and builders. Its own site lists full-service design, kitchen and bath renovations, historic-home updates, and furnishing and styling packages, with a stated service area running from Marblehead through Salem, Beverly, Swampscott, Lynn, Peabody, Danvers, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Gloucester, Rockport, Ipswich, Newburyport, Hamilton, Wenham and Topsfield. It is listed as a member of the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce. The most useful account is the most specific: a client who hired the studio in January 2026 for a dining-room refresh described a room asked to do four jobs at once — family dinners, neighborhood gatherings, art projects, music — and a design worked around all of them, with colors chosen to the client's taste and existing furniture kept in play. Another client, writing in January 2026 about a new Boston home, framed the work as shaping how a space functions for a family rather than picking pretty things. A third pointed to hands-on experience modernizing a very old house without stripping its historic detail, which is the kind of thing that matters in a town full of them. What to weigh: this is a short and very new written history. Six reviews, all posted in 2026, all at five stars, from a single platform — enough to show what recent clients think, not enough to show how the studio handles a job that goes sideways. The praise is warm and, in a couple of cases, detailed, but a record that thin can't carry the confidence a longer one would. The fit here is a homeowner who wants design direction — layouts, materials, color, furnishing, and coordination with the trades — rather than a builder to swing the hammer. The site says the studio can work with your own contractors or connect you with theirs, and offers construction oversight and project management, so it's worth pinning down at the first call exactly which parts of a renovation Moontide runs and which parts you'll be hiring separately.

I worked with Stephanie Brocoum of Moontide Studios in January 2026 for a dining room refresh. Working with Stephanie was an amazing experience. She took the time to understand our needs for a multi-functional dining room and incorporate various functions including family dinner, neighborhood gatherings, art projects and a music room. Stephanie worked with me to incorporate colors that I love and introduce patterns and texture to enhance our existing furniture. She also helped me source vintage chairs to complement an antique table and found fabrics and a rug to refresh the space. The room feels warm and inviting and is now our favorite spot in the house to gather. I can’t wait to use Stephanie to improve other rooms in our house.

Really great experience working with Stephanie. Not only does she have the skills of a designer but she also has real hands-on experience renovating a very old house and making it contemporary without gutting all the historical features. She makes a place feel sooo classy and comfortable! She works with what you already have, and offers options at different price points for things to add. She found rugs I never would’ve known about.

Have thoroughly enjoyed all the jobs I've done with Stephanie. Each one was different and yet she showed up with just the right combination of deep product knowledge with a refined but not fussy sense of design. Even when I could not see something, she knew what was going to work. Hard to define but super valuable in a designer. She has a relaxed engaging style so it is always a pleasure to be in her company.
