Moontide Studio is Stephanie Brocoum, working from 24 State Street in Marblehead on North Shore homes - full-service design, kitchen and bath renovations, historic home updates, and the furnishing and styling that follows. The studio says it works alongside homeowners, architects and builders rather than in place of them. The six Google reviews on file are all five stars and all from 2026, and they describe the same kind of engagement: someone who works out how a room has to function before she chooses anything for it. A homeowner who hired her for a dining room refresh in January 2026 needed the room to hold family dinners and several other uses at once, and wrote that she took the time to understand each of them. Another client, writing in January 2026 about a new Boston home, described the work as shaping "how the space truly works and feels for our family", not just choosing pretty things. Old houses come up more than once. In a January 2026 review, a client pointed to her hands-on experience renovating a very old house and making it contemporary without gutting its historical features - the exact worry a Marblehead or Salem owner brings to a first design meeting. Another, writing that same month, described deep product knowledge paired with a refined but not fussy eye, and a designer who could see what would work when the client could not. The studio's stated working area runs from Marblehead, Salem and Swampscott up the coast through Manchester-by-the-Sea, Gloucester and Rockport to Newburyport, and inland across Hamilton, Wenham and Topsfield. If you want a designer to lead a kitchen, bath or whole-house refresh on the North Shore, particularly in an older house, this is the kind of studio to call. The written history behind it is short - six reviews, all from this year, all on Google - so ask up front how she charges (flat fee, hourly, or a markup on furnishings) and who holds the contract with the trades doing the construction.

I worked with Stephanie Brocoum of Moontide Studios in January 2026 for a dining room refresh. Working with Stephanie was an amazing experience. She took the time to understand our needs for a multi-functional dining room and incorporate various functions including family dinner, neighborhood gatherings, art projects and a music room. Stephanie worked with me to incorporate colors that I love and introduce patterns and texture to enhance our existing furniture. She also helped me source vintage chairs to complement an antique table and found fabrics and a rug to refresh the space. The room feels warm and inviting and is now our favorite spot in the house to gather. I can’t wait to use Stephanie to improve other rooms in our house.
Stephanie has always a new idea to blend whatever we have! She is an understanding and thoughtful person to work with!!!
stephanie is a unicorn in the world of interior design. she is able to pair her unique, detail oriented, and impressive eye for all things design with her extensive background and experience in business. this powerful combo allows her to transform spaces in an efficient and meticulous way. she exudes warmth and prioritizes balancing her clients needs and wishes with what's best for the space. beyond being talented - she is an incredible human. stephanie is the gift that keeps giving and a joy to work with.
Really great experience working with Stephanie. Not only does she have the skills of a designer but she also has real hands-on experience renovating a very old house and making it contemporary without gutting all the historical features. She makes a place feel sooo classy and comfortable! She works with what you already have, and offers options at different price points for things to add. She found rugs I never would’ve known about.
Have thoroughly enjoyed all the jobs I've done with Stephanie. Each one was different and yet she showed up with just the right combination of deep product knowledge with a refined but not fussy sense of design. Even when I could not see something, she knew what was going to work. Hard to define but super valuable in a designer. She has a relaxed engaging style so it is always a pleasure to be in her company.
