Work was done and completed in timely, friendly and courteously. Service was wonderful and would recommend to anyone!
We had a great experience getting our mini split installed. Pricing was super fair and presented right on their website. It was installed in a single day and they handled everything with Mass Save for the rebate.
Near-Me HVAC did an amazing job installing 2 separate dual fuel (gas furnace/Electric heat pumps for 3 levels of my home. John the owner was excellent to work with and showed up the days he told us, worked efficiently and neatly, and spent time making sure we fully understood how to use our new systems. Highly recommend him!
My AC started having issues last year shortly after I purchased the house. I reached out to the previous owner to find out who installed the condenser since it was about two years old. John and his wife were unresponsive and combative. They even cancelled my appointment when I called the day before just to confirm they were still coming. John eventually came out to the house after a few months, but he had to leave halfway through the day to go to another job. He told me to text him if I had any further issues. The system seemed okay the day he was there, but after that the AC stopped keeping up again. Unfortunately, I have not heard back from John or his wife in over 11 months. It’s disappointing that they do not seem interested in making this right, especially since other HVAC companies have told me they believe there may be a leak in the system. If you’re looking for good communication, professionalism, and customer service that makes you feel valued, I would recommend looking elsewhere. My experience was frustrating, including being yelled at simply for calling to confirm an appointment. Update: Owner mentioned below that it was looked at by other HVAC companies, and this is due to them cancelling the appointment, not answering calls or texts and being incredibly rude.. They don't care if you have to pay 15k for a new system.
John installed our new heat pump system and it was a great experience working with him. We got many quotes initially, mostly from the bigger companies around the metro west area and NearMe HVAC offered by far the best package. John and his wife are super responsive, took their time to walk us through any questions we had and the install went smooth, we love our new system! They also handled every aspect of getting the MassSave rebate, so there was zero headache for us. If you are looking for a reliable, hard working and transparent business that doesn’t try oversell you on unneeded stuff (which every bigger company around tried to do), go with NearMe HVAC, we highly recommend them!
