Silvestre Tile works from Hyannis across Cape Cod, and its niche shows in the reviews: full bathroom rebuilds where waterproofing is the whole point, not an afterthought. In a 2020 review, a homeowner lays out the actual system — Jean explained the Schluter-System backing before pouring a mud bed and laser-levelling the subway tile, a $2,800 job — and a 2025 client mentions Jean and Carolina by name for a first-floor refinishing job, paying $2,000 more than a competing quote and calling it worth it. The business also handles commercial work: one 2025 client had an entire salon retiled — floors, bathroom, and kitchen backsplash — in a process described as smooth from start to finish, while another had a full retail installation completed in two days with everything cleared out and returned to place. A homeowner who, in a 2020 review, was steered to Jean by a Yarmouth tile-shop owner after a different remodeler (one that advertises on TV) fell apart mid-project called it 'the best move we could have made.' Ratings are perfect where they exist — 5.0 across Houzz and 5.0 across HomeAdvisor — but the pool is thin (nine written reviews spread from 2020 to 2025 across six platforms) and the written record splits into two eras: a 2020–2021 HomeAdvisor cluster and a 2025 Houzz cluster, with nothing dated in between. One thing worth confirming directly: BuildZoom's own licensing check turned up no active license on file for the company and could not verify one with the board. The company's own About pages also disagree on who runs it — Houzz and its own website describe a husband-and-wife business founded by Jean Silvestre, while HomeAdvisor's profile calls it a father-and-son operation. Neither discrepancy shows up in the actual work described, which is consistently detailed and well-regarded, but both are worth asking about before booking.

From start to finish I could feel the strong commitment to customer service…. Jean and Carolina did everything they could to do the best job possible. They delivered a high quality refinishing job on our first floor. I could sense upon my first interaction that these were professional people. I paid $2,000 more than a quote I got from another company and am very glad I did. Well worth it! Next task is the 2nd floor.
We had just started to remodel our bathrooms and the sunroom floor about two months before covid started a few years ago. Our remodeller that we were using all of a sudden, ran into all sorts of problems. They currently advertise on tv and I do not want to give their name to give them any free advertising. My wife and I went over to Bellew tile in yarmouth and asked Jimmy, if he could make any suggestions on a different person than who we were using. He suggested Jean from Sylvestri tile. It was the best move we could have made. Jean came right in, and he gave us some great ideas for the master bathroom. He also fixed problems that the other company had created in the kid's bathroom upstairs. Then he was able to show us many different styles of two foot by four tiles that the other company said that they could not get. We were very thankful that Jimmy told us about Jean. I can't recommend him enough. If you're looking for a referral, I am happy to be one for him.
I had Silvestre Tile install tile throughout my entire salon floors, including the bathroom and kitchen backsplash as well, and I couldn’t be more pleased with how everything turned out. The whole process was smooth, and the results are exactly what I imagined. The team was super easy to work with and really paid attention to the details. The tile work looks amazing, and it’s really transformed the space. I highly recommend Silvestre Tile to anyone looking for quality work.
Silvestre Tile completed an entire installation for my business in just two days. They efficiently removed everything, completed the work, and seamlessly returned everything to its place, making the process smooth and stress-free. The team is highly skilled and clearly knows what they’re doing, delivering quality results with professionalism
Joseph did a great job doing some follow up grout and caulking a year after they did our new bathroom. He was careful to match the color of the caulk to our grout color. Did a great job. Would highly recommend them to anyone!!
