Tank Removal Services operates out of 58 Willow Ave in Hyannis, focused on removing residential oil tanks. The company's Better Business Bureau profile, which matches this business exactly by address and phone, states it has been operating since 2005 — 21 years — with three employees and lists Richard Mahoney as manager; the business is not BBB accredited. Reviewers who hired the crew for oil tank removal describe the work well. In a 2023 review, a repeat customer wrote that the company always comes through when a tank needs removing, calling the pricing fair and the crew friendly and expert; a 2025 review similarly called a job quick, efficient and worth recommending. Google shows an overall 3.7-star average from six ratings. That praise sits alongside a detailed 2023 complaint: a homeowner said the person recommended for the job — named in the review as Jaime Shaunessey — repeatedly scheduled and then missed appointments over several weeks without calling back, eventually going quiet after promising to reschedule again. Anyone considering this company for an oil tank job should confirm current availability and get a firm appointment window in writing up front, and ask directly who will be handling the job — the BBB listing's named manager and the person named in the negative review are not the same name, and it isn't clear from the record whether that reflects a single technician or a wider pattern.
Awesome job , very quick, efficient, pleasant to work with . Definitely would recommend them
These guys always come through for us when we need to get rid of an oil tank. Highly recommend. Fair pricing, friendly, and expert service.
Very disappointed. Neighbor recommended Jaime shaunessey fir oil tank removal . He scduies me in a couple weeks later. Never calls me. I called the morning of his appointment and he says I’m coming . No show , I call he rescheduled 2 weeks. No messages no calls , call him the morning if appointment . I’ll be coming I’ll call if things change, no show no calll. How do people except this! I’m so used to businesses holding theyr word and showing up but that was from another state .
