The cabinets in a Kitchen Creations kitchen are made a few miles from where they get installed — the company builds them in its own West Yarmouth shop and tells customers to come tour the place. It calls itself a family-owned kitchen and bath design showroom serving Cape Cod and southern Massachusetts, and says it has been designing kitchens and baths since 1995. Homeowners who hired them in the mid-2010s describe design work that solved real problems. One 2015 client with a long, narrow kitchen said she met several companies and chose the only one willing to run iteration after iteration rather than hand her a layout. Another, remodeling in Chatham that same year, credited designer Michael with untangling a few awkward corners, and said the single panel that arrived in the wrong colour was swapped out quickly. A general contractor from Marlborough wrote in 2015 that he had bought everything from $1,500 vanities to $30,000-plus kitchens from them without friction. In 2020, a customer said cabinets installed about twelve years earlier still looked new, and that a question about a trash-bin cabinet got an answer within the hour. The two accounts pulling the other way are both about what happens after the invoice clears. A 2019 reviewer said the punch list from a spring 2016 gut remodel was still open three years later, and that owner Chip Harron pointed instead at the builder and at "abuse" of the cabinets. In July 2024 — the newest written account on file — a summer-home owner described chipped cabinets, peeling paint and doors that won't close, four years of phone calls, and no repair. The Better Business Bureau grades the company B-, and gives the reason as failure to respond to a complaint. Almost all of the glowing accounts are from 2014 and 2015, so the current picture is thin. Sources also disagree on how long the company has been going: it says since 1995, the BBB file says 1991, Angi's profile claims 39 years. Houzz puts a typical job at $12,000 to $20,000, and Angi's profile states no warranties are offered. If you want cabinetry designed and built locally, with a builder or contractor running the rest of the job, this is that kind of shop — several reviewers came to them on a builder's recommendation. Before signing, pin down in writing what happens if a finish or a door fails after installation: who inspects it, who pays, and how long it takes. That is the one place this company's history has repeatedly come apart.

I am really sorry to be writing this review, and have never written a bad one before. Our kitchen cabinets, by Chip, are an embarrassment. Many cabinets are chipped, paint peeling, doors don’t close, etc…I have called multiple times over the past 4 years to ask for help in repairing the cabinets. Always some excuse. The cabinets are 7 years old and this is our summer home, so not much use, as Chip claims, (without ever seeing them). We paid a lot of money for our beautiful kitchen in a brand new home. But he won’t help because of his relationship with the builder. Chip said he should have never gotten involved with him. As the consumer, that is not my fault. Chip should be proud of his work and want to make sure the customer is happy. I would not be proud of this at all.
About 12 years ago we had a cabinet installation done by Kitchen Creations....Chip's son oversaw the granite countertops. Still looks brand new!! We found the the whole team attentive and responsive. Today I called Chip with a question about my trash bin cabinet (wanted to remove for cleaning) After sending him a photo, he returned my call and a solution within the hour. Now that's service!! Cannot recommend this Co. highly enough. Thanks, Chip Sincerely, Donna M.
I worked with Kitchen Creations owner Chip Harron on my total kitchen gut and remodel in the spring of 2016. When the job was complete, I had a "punch list" of unfinished work and items that needed attention. Chip Harron was gracious in coming over and going over the list with me but kept on saying how busy is was. It's now 2019 and attention to my list has not been taken and when I called him to address this he blamed by contractor for some items, and myself for "abuse" of his cabinets. You can see from the attached photos that the workmanship just is not there in these cabinets. As a small business person myself, it pains me to leave negative feedback to another small business shop. But I honestly pulled out all the stops to make this right and here I am...three years later with cabinetry that looks like this.
We would use them again for our next remodel if we had one!
Kitchen Creations provided high quality workmanship, professionalism, and outstanding design assistance for a very competitive price. All facets of the project were completed in a timely fashion and their installers were courteous and extremely neat. We highly recommend this company.
