A Saturday call and a heating problem resolved by 11:30 Sunday: that was one customer’s account of Performance HVAC in a March 2026 Google review. Their system had failed to come back online after a blizzard and power outage, with colder weather expected the next day. They said Kevin answered the Saturday afternoon call and praised his responsiveness and punctuality. Performance HVAC describes itself as a one-man, owner-operated Cape Cod company offering heating, cooling and ductless mini-split installation, service and repair. Based in Marstons Mills, it says Kevin Zullo founded the business in 2022. Its website describes his start in HVAC in 2006 after Cape Cod Regional Technical High School and 16 years at another Cape Cod heating and cooling company before going out on his own. The company names service towns across Cape Cod, including Barnstable, Bourne, Brewster, Chatham, Dennis, Falmouth, Harwich, Mashpee, Orleans, Sandwich and Yarmouth. Kevin R Zullo’s Massachusetts HVAC licence, 3951-SM-J1, is active on the state registry. Another March 2026 Google reviewer described installation of an indirect-fired water heater, removal of a former homeowner’s DIY fan installation and annual oil-burner service. The customer said Kevin confirmed the appointment in advance, answered all their questions and helped them understand the home’s heating system. In December 2025, a customer who had switched from another company praised his pricing and said he took care of their HVAC equipment for service, repairs and new installations. Google shows a 5-star average from ten ratings. In a December 2024 review, a customer described converting their heating from oil to gas and installing new air conditioning. They said Kevin kept them informed, answered questions, arrived when scheduled and completed the work on time, with transparent pricing and no surprises. A June 2024 customer expected an assessment of their AC unit but said Kevin replaced it in a single visit after arriving within a couple of days of their call. A May 2024 reviewer in Plymouth described a new AC system and gas furnace, with explanations of air filters and routine maintenance and a work area left cleaner than before. In March 2024, a customer who used Kevin for yearly heating service said a midnight phone call helped them get the system running after they ran out of oil.
