Williams & Associates Mechanical Contracting is a heating contractor that holds a Connecticut HVAC licence, HTG.0388811-S3, in its own name, Williams & Associates Mechanical Contracting Inc, and it is active on the state registry. On Google it shows 4.6 stars from 18 ratings. A 2023 customer said Bruce and the team converted their home from a pair of separate oil boilers to a cascaded pair of gas boilers that heat several zones and a pool. That customer said Bruce made sure no detail was left unaccounted for before calling the job complete, and that the new system was far easier for them to read and troubleshoot than the setup it replaced. In a 2024 review, a customer said Bruce returned to replace a slow-leaking oil tank, did the job in one day and charged a reasonable price. An earlier entry in that same review, dated 2019, said Bruce and Bill removed an 18-year-old oil-fired boiler, added an indirect-fired water heater, did the installation in a day and explained the new system. A 2025 customer called the company fair and honest and said it is always there when they call.
always there when i call, very fair and honest Would recommend them to best friends and family
9/2024 UPDATE: Bruce returned to replace my slow leaking oil tank. Did the job in one day. Professionally done. Reasonably priced. Repeat use of a contractor is the best recommendation. 3/2019 Bruce and Bill of Williams & Associates Mechanical Contracting recently removed and replaced my 18 year old oil fired boiler and added an indirect fired water heater. I had been saving for this project for over a year and had been geeking out in my avid research (Thanks Internet!) of products available, reviews and costs, as well as the reputation and reliability of local heating and plumbing contractors. I knew what I wanted, I just needed to stay within my budget and find a contractor I could trust. It is therefore, my pleasure to let others know, on the same web review sites that I referred to, how overwhelming pleased I am to have worked with Bruce Williams and his team. They skillfully removed and installed the heating system in a day, took pride in their work and took the time to explain the new system and to fully answer all my questions. Bruce and Bill clearly like what they do for a living, have great people skills and work very well together. I was able to get the very best of products and still come well under budget. I cannot thank these guys enough! Honest, Professional and Reliable! My dusty, unfinished basement with my new Viessmann boiler, Carlin burner and HTP indirect fired water heater is now my favorite part of the house!
Bruce and the team at Williams & Associates just finished up a major overhaul for my home, converting from a pair of segregated oil boilers to a beautiful and functional cascaded pair of gas boilers. The house has several zones and these boilers are also responsible for heating a pool, so there were a lot of details involved in getting it right - Bruce made sure not to leave any of them unaccounted for before calling the job complete. And with the new setup, I can push each zone (most importantly that pool) harder than any individual boiler could before. Despite the complexity, the "readability" of the system for me as the homeowner potentially having to troubleshoot (and prevent catastrophe from) emergent issues is a huge step up from the rat's nest that was here before. Very, very happy with the outcome!
Bruce and his team are honest and extremely professional.
