New England Air HVAC, based in Revere, mostly gets called for mini-split installs and full furnace/AC replacements around the Boston area, and Juan -- who reviewers name specifically more than anyone else -- shows up as the installer on most of the bigger jobs. In a 2026 review, a homeowner in a 1930s house with radiators described a two-mini-split AC install that also required upgrading electrical service to 200 amps, with two crews and two building permits, finished within the quoted timeframe. Honest diagnosis is a recurring thread. In a 2023 review, a customer said three other companies quoted $8,000 to $11,000 to replace a heat-pump condenser and insisted on a different brand swap instead -- New England Air HVAC simply ordered the correct original-brand replacement part and installed it, rushing the job because tenants were moving in. In a 2025 review, a customer said the company fixed a problem that two prior visits from other providers had failed to solve, with no hidden costs. The technical range shows up across several specific jobs: a dual-fuel Bosch system installed with help securing rebates and a 0% heat loan, in a 2024 review; six AC units installed across one property with no mess left behind, in a 2026 review; a full furnace and ductwork overhaul, in a 2024 review; and, in a 2022 review, a technician squeezing into a badly reachable, tight spot to trace and fix an AC leak while explaining each step. Several reviews also describe getting an older AC system running again rather than pushing a full replacement. Reviewers consistently mention cleanup and communication -- protective care around finished spaces, walking customers through cost estimates before buying equipment, and clear explanations of what a repair involves and why. A few reviews are shorter and less specific, but even those consistently point back to the same technicians (Juan, Josh, Rodrigo) by name. Google shows 4.9 stars from 33 ratings. For a mini-split install, an electrical-heavy HVAC upgrade, or a stubborn repair other companies couldn't diagnose, the record here is deep and consistent.

We are very pleased by the work of New England Air HVAC. We have a 1930’s house with radiators and wanted to install 2 mini-splits, primarily for air conditioning. We contacted New England Air HVAC by email and Juan responded. He came to our house and we discussed the project. Juan sent a quote, we accepted and his team started and finished the project within the time frame he had quoted. This project included electrical work, especially because we had to upgrade our service to 200 amps, so there were 2 teams of workers and 2 building permits. Everyone who worked at our house was professional, neat and pleasant. Each day, all remnants of the work were cleaned up. We are pleased with the mini-splits and have used them for both heat and air conditioning. If we decide to install additional units for the other bedrooms or need any other HVAC work done, we would definitely work with this company again.
It was a great decision to work with the team at New England HVAC. They helped me replace a poorly installed and non-functioning mini-split cooling system, and the results have been excellent. They were all professional, efficient, and highly knowledgeable about heating and cooling systems. The entire process was smooth, from the initial assessment to the final installation. I would definitely recommend New England HVAC to anyone looking for reliable HVAC services. Juan, Alex, Luis, Thank you guys.
I would highly recommend them! Juan and his team were very good at communicating before and during the installation of a ducted mini split system. They worked hard, cleaned up when they were finished, and cared about the details and how everything looked in the attic.
From our very first contact, they were incredibly attentive; they listened to my needs and heard my suggestions for project modifications, showing me the pros and cons of each proposed change. In doing so, they demonstrated a great deal of expertise and helped me make the most effective use of my budget.
The team was able to come to my house and installed 6 AC'S in my property. They didn't leave any mess and they were extremely professional and respectful.
