New England Air HVAC is a Revere-based heating and cooling company that people keep calling for one job in particular: getting cool air into houses that were never built for it. Across its recent reviews the same story repeats — a 1930s home with radiators that needed two mini-splits, a poorly installed ductless system that had to be ripped out and replaced, a ducted mini-split threaded neatly through an attic. A name recurs too: Juan, who tends to be the one answering the first email and walking homeowners through the plan. The company describes itself as family-owned and focused on HVAC, from high-efficiency furnaces and AC units through full ductwork. On Google it carries a 4.9 average across 33 ratings, and the last few months back that up — six reviews, none negative. What customers keep pointing to is the finish: one homeowner had six AC units put in and noted the crew left no mess, and another watched them fuss over how everything looked in the attic once the ducted system was in. There's a repair streak worth knowing about, too. One recent customer had a defective HVAC unit — installed by a different company three years earlier — and brought New England Air in to sort it out, coming away describing a fair-priced fix and professional work. Cleaning up after another contractor's install is part of why people recommend them. One caveat worth weighing: the strong reputation is concentrated almost entirely on Google, and the other online mentions are directory and aggregator pages rather than independent review platforms. There are no negative reviews to flag, but a homeowner leaning on this read should know the depth sits mostly on one platform. If you're in the Revere area — or, as a couple of reviewers mention, out toward Worcester — and the job is a mini-split, a new AC or furnace, or rescuing a botched install, this is a reasonable outfit to get a quote from. Ask for a written scope and pricing up front, since reviewers describe careful planning and clear pros-and-cons, and confirm they cover your specific town before booking.

We are very pleased by the work of New England Air HVAC. We have a 1930’s house with radiators and wanted to install 2 mini-splits, primarily for air conditioning. We contacted New England Air HVAC by email and Juan responded. He came to our house and we discussed the project. Juan sent a quote, we accepted and his team started and finished the project within the time frame he had quoted. This project included electrical work, especially because we had to upgrade our service to 200 amps, so there were 2 teams of workers and 2 building permits. Everyone who worked at our house was professional, neat and pleasant. Each day, all remnants of the work were cleaned up. We are pleased with the mini-splits and have used them for both heat and air conditioning. If we decide to install additional units for the other bedrooms or need any other HVAC work done, we would definitely work with this company again.

It was a great decision to work with the team at New England HVAC. They helped me replace a poorly installed and non-functioning mini-split cooling system, and the results have been excellent. They were all professional, efficient, and highly knowledgeable about heating and cooling systems. The entire process was smooth, from the initial assessment to the final installation. I would definitely recommend New England HVAC to anyone looking for reliable HVAC services. Juan, Alex, Luis, Thank you guys.

I would highly recommend them! Juan and his team were very good at communicating before and during the installation of a ducted mini split system. They worked hard, cleaned up when they were finished, and cared about the details and how everything looked in the attic.

From our very first contact, they were incredibly attentive; they listened to my needs and heard my suggestions for project modifications, showing me the pros and cons of each proposed change. In doing so, they demonstrated a great deal of expertise and helped me make the most effective use of my budget.

The team was able to come to my house and installed 6 AC'S in my property. They didn't leave any mess and they were extremely professional and respectful.
